1999 Stamas 290 Tarpon – Fathom 2

The Stamas 290 Tarpon is a true offshore battlewagon, purpose-built for the serious angler who demands performance, safety, and fishability. Fathom 2 offers a wide-open center console layout that allows 360-degree fishability and maximum mobility when it matters most.

In 2024, she was repowered with twin Suzuki 300 outboards, delivering exceptional reliability, impressive fuel efficiency, and the speed to reach the fishing grounds quickly while maintaining a smooth, dry, and comfortable ride in a variety of sea conditions.

Her helm was completely modernized in 2025 with a full custom Raymarine Axiom electronics suite, providing state-of-the-art navigation, high-definition sonar, radar, and integrated vessel control. This cutting-edge system gives us the precision and situational awareness needed to consistently put clients on the fish and return safely to port. A premium Fusion marine audio system rounds out the onboard experience.

With a 10’6” beam, Fathom 2 offers an exceptionally stable and spacious platform, comfortably accommodating up to six anglers plus crew. Below the console, a fully enclosed head provides added convenience for longer offshore runs.

Safety is our highest priority. Fathom 2 exceeds all U.S. Coast Guard safety requirements and is equipped with a life raft, 2 EPIRB’s, PFD’s and dual VHF radios to ensure complete preparedness offshore.
